ART: JONATHAN GORDON BROWN
Jonathan is a highly qualified and experienced tutor and artist who support and helps develop student’s work in the Arts and to add value to a students educational experience.
He has a calm, relaxed manner with all students who thoroughly enjoy his classes.
Over the years he has been providing a range of private and group tutorials to children from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. The majority of these sessions are in Art but also include Maths and English. He has been working with students who are seeking scholarships at the independent schools in the region as well as working in a school’s special unit for students that cannot be placed in main stream education, and are provided with an environment to commence their studies towards GCSE examinations.
He is a painter of all subject matters and is a member of a number of local art groups. He provides a range of opportunities for children and students to express themselves artistically or develop an understanding of drawing and painting skills together with support and guidance on scholarship applications and GCSE or A Level work.
ENGLISH, DRAMA & SCIENCE: SARAH JEWETT
Sarah is a teacher and parent with extensive experience working with children of a wide age and ability range. She has recently left her post as Head of Drama and English at a local private school to educate her young son at home.
She provides fun, educational workshops for children to build their English and Drama skills, helping them discover their own creativity and foster their imaginations. The children at her trial session were fully engaged by her interactive hands on approach.
