HOME EDUCATING IN KENT, SUSSEX AND SURREY We are a group of Home Educators who meet weekly in Edenbridge for Family Learning and Group Support. We are a democratically run, committee based group, fully insured for public liability and have been established for 7 years.
We have members from far and wide including from Sussex, Surrey, Kent and South London. If you think you would be interested in joining come along to one of our many varied events, meet us and find out more about becoming a member of a thriving and friendly community.
Our group is not only here to educate but to provide support to educators. We have a Google chat group through which we arrange events and discuss relevant subjects. Our Facebook page is for both children and adults to upload photos of group activities and to keep in touch. We have a variety of educational materials and resources ranging from CD Roms, books (including history, music and maths). Microscopes, puzzles, maths games. We also have a variety of books on various styles of home educating which may be especially useful to families new to home education, all of which are available to borrow. These items are kept at the hall, where we meet fortnightly.
