Royal Pavilion Brighton

Wednesday 1st February 2006

We had a trip to the Royal Pavillion in Brighton. It was built for George IV, the Prince of Wales. It was built around the original farmhouse that already stood on the land. It is the most beautiful building.

All through the building there are some beautiful chandeliers. All the walls are painted with murals. There are loads of mirrors which give the impression that each room is larger than it really is. Some of the rooms have got false doors which make the rooms seem symetrical.
